감독은 원작 뮤지컬에 더 충실하기 위해 영화를 두 편으로 나눴다.

1. "Divided the film into two"는 문법적으로 맞지만,  
   - "film into two"는 다소 직역한 느낌이며 약간 어색하게 들릴 수 있습니다.  
   - 또한 "to stay true"는 자연스러운 표현이지만, 구어체에서 흔히 쓰이는 "so he could stay truer"에 비해 덜 부드럽습니다.

2. "Split it into two movies so he could stay truer..."는  
   - "split it"은 자연스럽고 대화체에서 더 자주 쓰이는 표현입니다.  
   - "so he could stay truer"는 동기나 목적을 설명할 때 흔히 쓰는 자연스러운 연결 방식입니다.  
   - "two movies"는 명확하고 일상적인 표현입니다.

구어체나 내레이션 스타일에는 "split it into two movies"처럼 간결하고 자연스러운 표현이 더 어울립니다.

1. "Were casted"는 잘못된 표현입니다. "cast"는 과거형도 "cast"입니다.  
   또한 "in the musical"이 문장 중간에 끼어들면서 흐름이 다소 부자연스럽습니다.

2. "Two musical actresses who recorded the original soundtrack of the musical made cameo appearances in the film."는  
   - "made cameo appearances"가 자연스럽고 흔히 쓰이는 표현입니다.  
   - "musical actresses"라는 표현으로 직업이 명확하게 전달되고, 문장이 더 매끄럽습니다.

동사의 과거형에 주의하고, 자연스러운 표현을 익히는 것이 매끄러운 문장을 만드는 데 도움이 됩니다.

감독을 맡은 Jon M. Chu는 <Wicked> Part I 전에 <Crazy Rich Asians>도 만들었다.

1. "Jon M. Chu, the director,"는 문법적으로 맞지만 "The director, Jon M. Chu,"처럼 직책을 먼저 말하는 형식이 더 자연스럽고 전형적인 영어 표현입니다.  
   특히 글의 흐름상 감독을 강조할 때 효과적입니다.

2. 두 문장 모두 문법적으로는 옳지만, 두 번째 문장은 도입부가 더 부드럽고 공식적인 문체에 잘 어울립니다.

문장에서 인물 소개를 할 때는 직책을 먼저 언급하고 이름을 덧붙이는 형식이 더 자연스럽게 받아들여집니다.

1. "She wanted her to be the movie"는 문법적으로 어색합니다.  
   → “to be in the movie”처럼 전치사 in이 반드시 필요합니다.  
   → 수정 예시: `"She wanted her to be in the movie."`

2. 두 번째 문장은 "so much that she even sent" 구조를 써서 감정을 강조하면서도 더 자연스럽게 흐릅니다.  
   감정의 강도를 나타낼 때 "so ~ that" 구문은 자주 사용되는 유용한 표현입니다.

사람이 영화에 출연하길 바란다고 말할 때는 반드시 “be in the movie”라고 해야 자연스럽고 정확합니다.

영화의 스토리라인은 원작 브로드웨이 뮤지컬과 거의 같다.
The storyline of the film is almost the same as the original Broadway musical.
The movie's storyline is almost identical to the original Broadway musical.

 
1. "almost the same as"와 "almost identical to"는 문법적으로 모두 맞습니다.  
   다만, 두 번째 문장이 더 정확하고 강한 유사성을 전달합니다.  
   → "identical to"는 거의 차이가 없다는 뉘앙스를 주며,  
   → "the same as"는 좀 더 일반적이고 부드러운 표현입니다.

2. `"The storyline of the film"`과 `"The movie's storyline"`은 같은 의미지만, 두 번째 표현은 더 간결하고 일상적인 말투입니다.  

강한 유사성을 강조하고 싶을 땐 “almost identical to”처럼 강한 형용사를 활용하는 것이 효과적입니다.
